School lunches during lockdown-Spring term 2021
All children are entitled to have one of our school lunches every day. This is part of the Universal Free School Meals scheme currently in operation across the country. We operate a delicious menu which has a three week rotation.
Children also have the option to have school lunch on some days and bring a packed lunch on others. We ask that parents inform us in advance of any changes to usual arrangements.
If children do not want to stay for a school lunch each day they can bring a packed lunch-we ask that parents and carers remember our guidelines when selecting what to put inside (see below).
All lunch boxes or bags and drink bottles should be clearly labelled with the child’s name and class.
Food Information Regulation 2014 – Allergen Labelling
At Sudley Infant School we provide food throughout the school day for our pupils/students, staff and visitors.
Our premises are regularly inspected by the Local Environmental Health Officer who uses the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme to rate the hygiene standards of our school.
The school catering company, Absolutely Catering Ltd, is responsible for the food provision at the school.
Our catering manager is based in the school kitchen between 9.00am and 1.00pm.
Please contact the school office if you would like any further information.
All allergen information should be provided to school in a written form.
