Our school uniform is gender neutral.
We have a simple school uniform. It consists of a red jumper/cardigan with the Sudley Infant School logo, white polo shirt and grey trousers or skirt/ pinafore. Other red cardigans or jumpers are NOT acceptable.
We ask for sensible black shoes – no trainers or boots (although boots can be brought in for use on the playground). Please send your child to school with shoes they can fasten themselves, e.g. if he/she cannot tie up laces, do not send your child in with lace-up shoes.
In summer a red and white dress can be worn – any pattern is fine. Knee length grey shorts /culottes are acceptable too.
All the above are acceptable for boys and girls.
Please see details further down the page of sensory friendly clothing choices.
All children undress for P.E. and will need the following kit in their PE bags ready for lessons.
Indoor kit – pumps, plain white tee shirt and navy shorts.
Outdoor kit – red school tracksuit should be worn, available from Trutex.
Trutex, our uniform supplier, has produced a guide to assist parents when ordering uniform,.
The following essential items are available to buy from the school office-
- Children will need a book bag (£5.00) to bring their books to and from school.
- Children will also need a PE bag (£3.50) to carry their PE kit.
- We request that children bring a water bottle each day. These can be purchased for (£1.50) but any clear bottle with a sports type cap is suitable. Children are not allowed to bring coloured bottles or bottles with removable lids and they must only contain plain water. Flavoured water or juice is not allowed.
- Children may want a cap (£4.00).
We also ask parents to ensure that children do not attend with hairstyles/cuts that are extreme/inappropriate for school e.g. closely shaven heads and fancy hair accessories etc.
